The club headed out to Merrill Creek today, and had another great weather day for a Five Alive Tournament. The sky was crystal clear with air temps ranging from 72-82, and winds out of the north west running 7-15 mph. The water was its usual clean and clear, and the temp ranged from 70-72 degrees. 24 members fished today, and hooked into 25 fish, weighing close to 60 pounds...we have had better days! Steve Carey crushed the competition today with 5 fish weighing an impressive 15.21 pounds! Great job Steve!!! His brother, John Carey, laid into 2nd, with 8+ pounds and a sweet 5.87 Lunker to seal his day! Dave Burkett took third with 4 fish, and a 7+ pound bag to top it off! Way to go members!
Check out the rest of the results!
See ya at Pompton!!!
