Twenty Four anglers set out this past weekend looking to become Megabux Champ. Day 1 started off strong with limits being reported early in the day. It would be the big fish that would determine the tournament with so few being caught Half the field was one good bite away from winning the tournament. Pat Childs was the clubhouse leader after day one . He weighed in an absolute Toad going 7.19lbs giveing him a total of 11.99lbs for the day and taking over the lead in the Lunker of the Year pool . Rich Mccrone was in 2nd with a limit for 9.38 lbs and Chris Ring was sitting in 3rd with 8.70lbs. Day 2 proved to be much more of a grind. The bite Toughened but by days end most guys scratched out a limit. Tom Farriello brought in the high for the day with 9.38lbs giving him a 2 day total of 17.84lbs. With Pat and Rich faltering it was up to Chris Ring to knock Tommy off the hot seat. He dumped his 5 fish including a 4lb kicker into the tub. he weighed 9.16lbs giving him just enough weight to pass Tommy but a dead fish penalty would knock him into 2nd place , giving Tom Fariello his 4th megabux title. Tim Dafick rounded out the top 3 with a 2 day total of 16.24lbs
