Ice was gone..... - 2005/02/28 02:59
I took a ride to the Assunpink lakes today 2-27-05 and two of the three were completly void of ice. Stone Tavern and Rising Sun had no ice and no snow blocking the ramps....wish I had my boat with me!! Assunpink had a thin layer of ice and you could not launch a boat yet...about 70% open water. Lets hope the weather holds out for Sunday the 6th!! If you read this Radamski stay off the lakes this week!!!

Drove by Stone this morning 3/2. The small cove to the right of the ramp is covered with ice. The rest of the lake was clear. The ramp area was clear to launch.

Thats good to here....I don't think it will freeze up. The wind and the daytime highs will keep it open. Thanks for the report.
