Went to deal yesturday because of paul..his friend bobby brennan, the guy from swimming river swears by that lake..and said its been on fire..he told me exactly where to go exactly what to throw( a white strike king zulu jerkbait) after throwing this ridiculous floating piece of crap for an hour and a half I got hung up in a tree..and as i was pulling it out and cursing like jefferey...berries fell off the tree and into the water, and it started a carp feeding frenzy..so i went and got some berries from the tree took off the jerkbait and put on the berry just to see what would happen..soon as it hit a huge carp took it and starting running parrallel to the shore line..and i couldnt stop it, those friggin things are so strong..did you ever catch one before? after 5 minutes i got snapped off..so i kept trying and trying till finally after losing 3 of these disgusting looking creatures from the depths of deal i caught one..had to be 8 pounds maybe more dont know how to judge them..But this really is a true story, and i actually had fun. alot of fun. I may go back with my son. so there you have it..the carp story of 2004.
