T-4 Assunpink Open Buddy Tournament 12-16-6 - 2006/12/14 23:06
Five Alive Bassmasters Fall/Winter League Tournament 4 Lake Assunpink December 16th. 7am-2pm
Tournament entry fee is $40 per boat/team (includes lunker) 100% payout
1-5 Boats 1st and lunker
6-10 Boats 1st, 2nd, and Lunker
11+ Boats 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Lunker
$5 per boat goes to lunker pot.
$5 per boat goes to team of the year (based on accumulated weight) Winner takes all.
$30 per boat goes to tournament payout.
Rules.
All boats must have an aerated livewell system.
All fish caught must be released back into lake after weigh-in
Only Largemouth/Smallmouth Bass will count with a minimum length of 12"- 15' Assunpink
Five bass per boat, two people per boat, or solo. 3 bass solo limit on Assunpink.
No trolling or fly fishing
No livebait or prepared bait can be used. Artificial lures only with the exception or pork rind type trailers.
No culling of dead fish. 4oz penalty per dead fish. No more than allowed limit in livewell at anytime. All culling must be done on lake.
No fishing within 25 yards of any anchored boat with front trolling motor out of water.
Only one rod per person may be used at any time.
There will be a 4oz penalty for each minute late to weigh in. You must be within 25 yards of the ramp. Five minutes late will result in disqualification.
All NJ fish & game laws and Coast Guard rules will be followed.
You must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by an adult.
All protest will be decided at tournament site by a club official. All decisions are final.
All fishing and landing of fish must be done from inside participants boat.
Winners will be determined on teams total weight. Ties will split money of two places. Lunker ties will split lunker payout.
All fish must be brought to scale in weigh-in bag filled with water.
Any short fish brought to scale will result in a 1lb penalty each and loss of that fish.
If the lakes not frozen the tournament is on!

suppose to be a good turnout this weekend...the new ramps open and the weathers looking good...hope to see yas on the water

id like to thank all 24 boats for coming out today ... turned out to be a very tough bite with only 6 fish weighed in ...

Tim, sorry I forgot about it, I just read your message, but I coudn't make it anyway I was with Roland and kevin at a basket weaving seminar. Looks like you had a great turn out. Folks are really sticking with it, I'm glad the winter thing is such a big success. Just think when it becomes standard accross the state, remember who started it, "a couple of Eskimo's from Five Alive) LOL
