Even though we had some wicked weather today at Mirror Lake, the normal catch of "Cookie Cutter" bass did not change at all! We started off the day with dense fog, and ended the day with downpours and thunderstorms. The air temp ranged from 82-85 degrees with 5-10 mph winds most of the day. The water was its normal cedar color, with temps ranging from 78-81 degrees. We managed to hook into 44 Bass, with a total weight of 55.28. Rich McCrone senior led the day with 5 fish, and 5.79 pounds...Congrats Father McCrone! Bruce Sax took second and lunker for the day, and Pat Harrigan took third....Nice Job!

The annual Night Tourny was held on Farrington Lake this year, and as usual we had a blast! The skies were clear, and the wind was next to nothing. The water was actually pretty clear for Farrington, and held a steady 72 degrees thru out the night. Along with the date being a lucky 7-07-07, the club weighed in a total 77.7 pounds!!! How weird is that???
37 Fish caught, and 7 guys blanked! LOTS OF 7's!!! The club needs to play the lottery after this one! John Carey Dominated this one with 5 fish caught, weighing 11.3 pounds. Way to go John!!! Tom Cusmano took second...nice to see you back Tom! And Mike Burkepile held on to 3rd...Great Job!
Tommy Fariello took Lunker for the day with a Farrington 4.5 pounder!

Manasquan Reservior and Deal Lake

We finally had some good weather for a Five Alive Tourney!!! Both Days!!! Mega Bucks 2-Day tournament started Day 1 on Manasquan. The weather was pretty good...suuny blue skies, but the wind was a little on the heavy side. The water was clear as always, and ran about 70-74 degrees. The reservior did not treat us as well as last year, but we still had some pretty good bags weighed in. Dave Burkett ended up leading the first day with over 9.5 pounds, and 4 fish caught. Rich Castellano took lunker for the day with a 5.66 hog! Nice Job Guys!

Day 2 put us on Deal Lake...a club favorite! The weather was pretty good again! Skies were clear with temps going up in the 80's. The water was murky as usual, with temps in the low 70's, and the wind was pretty light up to the end of the tournament. There were not alot of pigs caught, but we still laid into a good amount of keepers. Tommy Fariello ended up taking the lead for the day, and squeezed by Burket to take the 2 day tourney home! Nice Job Tommy!

Even though we caught some fish today, it was nothing like the Potomac!
We still had a great time!!!
The weather was a little tough with wind around 15-20 mph, but the sun peaked thru to get the temp to 69 to 72 degrees.
The water was pretty murky, and showed about 65 to 67 degrees in most spots.

We ended up catching 16 fish with 24 members....not the greatest "Five Alive" day on record!!!
Total weight was 51.87 pounds for the club, and Chris Press came out on top with a 5 fish bag weighing over 15 pounds!!!! You the man Chris!!!
Check out the rest of the standings!
