As Requested, I've put a new photo album up on the web. However I do need photos from the latest season. If you have some action shots from this year please send them to Dave or myself. Please also include the date and lake the photo was taken on as well as any caption that you would like to see. As always all feedback is welcomed. Click to view photos.

"THE BOOK" says high pressure after a cold front shuts the bass down and they get lock jaw. I'd like to have "THE BOOK" for my financial investments (if I had any money) because it was 100% accurate. This Sunday's tournament on Mercer Lake was a beautiful day for almost any out door activity except for bass fishing. The temperature rose all day to get to about 80. Not a cloud in the sky and there was just a very mild breeze. We had a great turnout with 21 guys fishing, including one guest. Of that, 6 guys caught 8 fish. |

Dave Burket the Club President made Rookie of the Year for the New Jersey B.A.S.S. Federation. Congratulations to him for a job well done. This was achieved by being the rider in all of the Federations events. It just goes to show you that being on the back of the boat is not always the worst place to be. |

OK guys, here are the results from Sunday's tournament at Carnegie Lake. There were a lot of small fish caught, as the weights show, but there were also a few respectable fish weighed in |

Sorry for the delay on the results for this tournament. I guess it was because I had a lot of stuff happening here plus, except for the long ride to and from, it wasn't a very memorable tournament. I clocked 87.5 miles to the lake from Jackson with a fairly long, twisting ride once you were off the Parkway so that 5 out of 18 guys could catch a bass. |

We fished Lake Hopatcong this Sunday and I think everyone that fished will agree it was quite an experience especially for guys not use to the "big water". Depending on where you were the water was clear to murky. As the clouds cleared away it got pretty hot and humid and as the sun came out so did the boat traffic. Most places in the lake were pretty rough from a combination of a good breeze from the north west and a lot of boat traffic. To add to all of this, it was a tough bite. |
