The water was clear and ranged in temp from 72-75 degrees. Chris Press dominated this one with a 10.41 pound bag...on the back of Bruce Sax boat! Nice job Chris! Talk about great weather...the air temp was 78 in the morning and we closed the day with 87 degrees. The wind was pretty light at 5mph, and the skies were blue and clear. The water was its normal murky self for Carnegie, and ranged in temp from 78-81 degrees. All in all, we managed to hook into 44 fish for a weight of over 81 pounds...not too shabby! John Carey dominated this one with a total weight of 13.14! Seemed like Farrington all over again!!! Great Job John! Pat Harrigan took second, and Tim Daffick nailed third. Monday, 06 August 2007
Even though we had some wicked weather today at Mirror Lake, the normal catch of "Cookie Cutter" bass did not change at all! We started off the day with dense fog, and ended the day with downpours and thunderstorms. The air temp ranged from 82-85 degrees with 5-10 mph winds most of the day. The water was its normal cedar color, with temps ranging from 78-81 degrees. We managed to hook into 44 Bass, with a total weight of 55.28. Rich McCrone senior led the day with 5 fish, and 5.79 pounds...Congrats Father McCrone! Bruce Sax took second and lunker for the day, and Pat Harrigan took third....Nice Job!

Pat Durkin column: Slow down for a fishing thrill
