Kraft Seals the Deal on MegaBux Win!!!

Day Two of the Megabux brought better weather and more fish to the scalesImage.  Joe Kraft brought 11 and change to the scales to cruise to a win after his record breaking day one. His 2day toatal was 34.00lbs . He also set the Mark for LOY with a 5.43lber. You didn't have to look far to find the second place finisher Mike McCurdy who fished off the back of Krafts Boat. Mike brought another solid limit to the scales to grab 2nd place with a 2 day total of 26.24lbs. Joe and Mike continued their impressive season totaling well over a thousand dollars in winnings for the third time this year. Third Place went to Tom Fariello with a 2 day total of 23.27lbs

Kraft Leads Day one of MegaBux with Record Seeting Day On Potomac

Joe Kraft broke in the new scale in a big way destroying the club record for bImageiggest bag previously held by Rich McCrone III . Joe brought in a 5 fish limit weighing in at 21.39lbs!!!! His Bag was anchored by a 5.43lb Lunker that is currently leading the Lunker of the Year Pool.  His closest competitor is over 6lbs Back going into Day 2.

Five Alive was well represented at this past weeks Federation Nation eventImage on the potomac. We had ten members fish the event on both the Boater and Non boater sides. Randy Baran Jr lead the way with a 2nd place finish in his first Federation Event

Konca Wins Opener on Union

Five Alive kicked off its season today on Union Lake. We had 29 members make the trek down south. The fishing was tough as most guys stuggled to find bites but a fewImage nice fish made it to the sclaes. Andy Konca took top honors with 4 fish for 9.15lbs anchored by his 4.43lb Lunker. Second went to Randy Baran with 4 fish for 8.17lbs. Bruce Sax rounded out the top 3 with 3 fish for 7.08lbs.

 

Next up is a club favorite the Potomac River

Kraft /Mccurdy Win Open on Assunpink

For the second straight week we had a great turnout and great weather on the Pink. First place Imagehonors and the $1125 that went with it go to Joe Kraft and Mike Mccurdy with 5 fish for 14.35lbs. Second  went to Darrin Earle and Marvin Bell with 5 fish for 12.79lbs. Third was Todd Ketchow and William Veth with 5 fish for 12.22 lbs . Lunker was an absolute slob weighing in at 7.69lbs Caught by Jim Kloos and Brian Newbon.
