Written by Five Alive Administrator
Monday, 08 May 2017
Our third stop of the year was another true test of determination, As we were once again faced with brutally tough fishing conditions. The crazy weather kept a few from making the trek and 3 more were derailed in transit with the crazy storm that hit. Twenty six members made it down to Northeast Maryland to battle the wind and flood tide . Only  11 members were able to bring fish to the scales in the two days combined. Luke Schrader was able to outlast the field finding 4 Chunky Chesapeake Bay largemouth to take the win . His total was 12.62 lbs anchored by a 3.86lb day one lunker. Second place went to Jesse Brennan with 3 fish for 10.74 lbs. Third place honors went to Joe Kraft with 2 fish for 9.21lbs including a massive 5.68lb lunker.

Next up we head to club favorite Candlewood. Last year we broke the record with 35 people fishing the event and this year is shaping up to be even bigger!!!

Tom sacked 4 fish for 8.99lbs to grab the win. DJ Fiori fresh off a classic win started the year off  well  landing a 5.83lbsGiant that was good for Second and lunker and set the bar high for Lunker of the Year.
