Congratulations goes out to Bruce Sax (Boater)and Eric Bennett (Rider)of Five Alive Bassmasters for both taking home First and Lunker in their respected divisions at this weekends Federation Nation  tournament on the Nanticoke river.

Both weighed in limits for  9 and change with 3 plus kickers

Erics win puts him in great shape to make the state team.
Well be routing him and the rest of the guys on at the team tournament as they try to qualify for next years team tournament

Twenty Four anglers set out this past weekend looking to become Megabux Champ. Day 1 started off strong with limits being reported early in the day. It would be the big fish that would determine the tournament with so few being caught  Half the field was one good bite away from winning the tournament. Pat Childs was the clubhouse leader after day one . He weighed in an absolute Toad going 7.19lbs giveing him a total of 11.99lbs for the day and taking over the lead in the Lunker of the Year pool . Rich Mccrone was in 2nd with a limit for 9.38 lbs and  Chris Ring was sitting in 3rd with 8.70lbs. Day 2 proved to be much more of a grind. The bite Toughened but by days end most guys scratched out a limit. Tom Farriello brought in the high for the day with 9.38lbs giving him a 2 day total of 17.84lbs. With Pat and Rich faltering it was up to Chris Ring to knock Tommy off the hot seat. He dumped his 5 fish including a 4lb kicker into the tub. he weighed 9.16lbs giving him just enough weight to pass Tommy but a dead fish penalty would knock him into 2nd place , giving Tom Fariello his 4th megabux title. Tim Dafick rounded out the top 3 with a 2 day total of 16.24lbs

23 Members showed up to fish the Muddy 90 degree waters of Assunpink. The Bite was tough ,with no limits making their way to the scales. Only 9 guys brought fish to the scales, shaken up the points race half way through the year. Eric Bennett's 2 fish for 5.48 was good enough for 3rd place and shot him all the way up into the Top 3 for the year. Gary Krieg caught a 5.67lb Toad that took 2nd overall as well as Lunker for the day. Randy Jr. was last to weigh in and he sumped 2 chunks into the tub weighin 6.52lbs to lock up his first club Win and move him back into classic contention Where he will try to regain the title from his Dad. The club headed up to Merrill creek July 11th. The 20 plus members struggled through ahot and humid day. In the end Steve Richter smashed the field with the only 5 fish limit weighing 11.15 for his first club Win. 2nd and Lunker went to Ryan Gaynor with 3 fish for 8.40lbs with a 4.41 smallie anchoring his Bag.  3rd went to Evan Mann with 2 fish for 3.91lbs

Twenty One members showed up to Deal on a hot and muggy day. It was Chris Press Winning in dominating fashion with 13.59lb bag anchored by a 3.59lb kicker. Tim Dafick finished in 2nd with 9.65lbs and Jon Daut rounded out the top 3 with an impressive 8.86lb limit
